About this Course:
COVID-19 has impacted the current workplace and workplaces of the future. Mitigating the potential spread from one person to another in facilities has become a key corporate strategy to many organizations not only in the United States, but around the world. These strategies recommend making sure facilities are well ventilated with fresh air, temperature is properly controlled, and humidity levels are maintained between 40% and 60%. Low levels of humidity cause droplet particles to break into smaller droplets - which travel and can cause risk of exposure to many illnesses.
By introducing larger levels of humidification into interior spaces the potential for the spread of airborne illness is reduced. Come learn about the ASHRAE recommendations for humidification, the options available to install such systems in a facility, and learn from an actual case study that provided increased humidification to a group of facilities.
