Hey there, everyone! Kathryn Marek here, your new CSINext President.
I know, 2020 is turning out to be a heck of a year. And in a funny way, I can’t think of a better time to be President of CSINext.
And no, I’m not thinking that things can’t get any worse. But really, this is the moment we can remind ourselves what CSI is really about. Connecting with our fellow industry members. Connecting with our friends.
Yes, things are a bit weird right now. We’re working from home, getting cabin fever, trying to figure out how to keep it together, and trying to hold on to our senses of humor.
This is the perfect time for a virtual chapter. This is perfect time to email that person you haven’t talked to in years. This is the perfect time to pick up the phone and chat.
We’re all virtual to some degree right now, but the relationships and the connections are real and they’re still there. CSINext keeps me connected to my fellow members from Washington to Florida, from the great white north of Canada to the desert Southwest. And frankly, right now, we need the connection and the friendships more than ever.
So just remember, CSINext may be a Virtual chapter, but we are the real deal. ?
