It’s Mid-June.

In CSI world, that means Region and Chapter Leaders are handling the last Board meeting, the last Monthly meeting, the Awards banquet.  They are putting a bow on their year of service and getting ready to hand the controls over to the next in line.

Michael Young has done a good job as President. We have had a successful year of Programs. We are ready to kick off an exciting announcement of a new program concerning student support.

Pass the Scepter (Bagpipe?)

Construct in October of 2018 will always have special meaning for two of our chapter’s leaders. President Michael Young and Secretary Cynthia Belisle were awarded one of the highest honors CSI can bestow-Fellowship.  It was great to see them recognized for all they have done and continue to do for CSI.

Rounding Third.

Your President-Elect has been working hard to learn how to take over the controls. I promise I will do my best. I promise I will make mistakes. I promise I will learn from them. And somewhere in the process we will grow and navigate through the year together.

How about you?

This chapter is special by virtue of who we are. We are not constrained by a city, a region, a state or even a county. I hope you have read founding member Daniel Hargreaves, FCSI, CDT, AIA post Diversity. https://www.csinext.org/the-artichoke-s-life/diversity  If not, please do so and look at the map that shows where we are located. What would you like to see us do in FY20?

Reach out with your ideas so we can make this the best year yet.   Let me know your wishes for what’s CSINext!
