Greetings! Falling short on your CEU's for 2024. Well, “Don’t get your tinsel in a tangle” CSINext will be conducting our December Chapter Meeting next week and the presentation will offer four different webinars. Each one will offer individual sign up to meet your learning objectives. All of these will offer HSW learning units.

Presentation:

Leaks and mold continue to pose serious problems for the construction industry. This seminar will compare traditional waterproofing systems with modern waterproofing technology to show how tiled showers have evolved. The fundamentals of both approaches, including proper design, execution,
and function will be presented, with close attention paid to common errors, as well. The benefits of bonded waterproofing technology and how it has improved tiled showers will be stressed.

Learning Objectives:

Identify the benefits and challenges associated with tiled showers.
Understand the proper design and execution of tiled shower waterproofing systems.
Recognize the benefits of bonded waterproofing technology and how it has revolutionized tiled showers.
Review design and installation procedures

Speakers Bio:

I am an Architectural Manager for Schluter Systems. My territory is Michigan, Ohio, and Indianapolis north for Indiana. I've been with Schluter for almost 6 years but I've been in the tile and stone industry for 20 years. I spent most of my time in the industry working for tile distribution. I have a BFA in Interior Design.

Daniel Hargreaves, FCSI, CDT, AIA, iSCS, RAS is an Architect and Project Manager for SRa Architects. Daniel also serves as the Director of Operations for SRa Architects in Tucson, AZ. Daniel has been in the architecture for over 35 years and Computer Technology at all levels. He joined SRa Architects in 2013 where he is responsible for establishing CAD/BIM standards, CAD/BIM training and served as the lead modeler on several major projects. Daniel serves the CSINext Chapter as Electronics Chair and Treasurer. He also served as past president for the CSINext & Dallas Chapters, South Central & Southwest Regions along with serving as Institute Director.

Howdy, No you did not miss the link. Joys of being a volunteer... I thought I could pull it off during a break in an all day meeting. I took longer than I thought with a lot on interruptions. Goal is to get all 4 of these with links done today.
