Presentation:

This session will focus on the newly released NBIMS-US™ Version 4, a significantly updated version with a focused new organization and new sections. The new NBIMS-US™ takes an agile and modular approach to foster more frequent updates. It includes a new section on Project BIM Requirements, the updated Project BIM Execution Planning section, a new section defining BIM Uses, and an updated release of COBie. This is the first version of NBIMS-US™ that has been custom designed to include language that can be easily referenced as individual sections in contracts. This version also has new resources such as guidelines, user templates, and information exchanges to support implementation. We’ll unpack the new content and discuss how it can be applied to your projects and organization.
