Presentation:

Speaker: Heath Warner

About this Course:

Compressed construction cycles, EPA and OSHA regulation changes, ICRA and LEED standards, all have affected how we build and construct projects. Our approach to the environment in which we perform that work in has not. Hydronic heating and jobsite climate control offer simple solutions that save major construction dollars upfront and remedy problems later. Learn how advances in technology can offer you advantages such as:

  • Production schedule control
  • Fume free work environments
  • Dry / even heating
  • Quiet operation
  • Tremendous fuel savings

Learning Objectives:

  1. Demonstrate how technological improvements such as hydronics offer alternatives to traditional methods by moving combustion outside the work area eliminating CO and CO2 concerns for workers.
  2. Discuss alternative equipment methods that allow for temporary MERV filtration to construction sites that help to comply with OSHA guidelines for workers and cleaner buildings for the end user
  3. Show how technology can be used during the construction cycle to maintain relative humidity levels making the work space healthier for the worker and the end user.
  4. Display information that an integrated process approach creates a safer work environment while allowing for decreased schedule time and financial savings.

Learning Units will be provided: Yes (LU/HSW)

Speakers Bio:

For over 20 years Heath Warner has helped solve construction related issues for contractors, architects, and building owners using various materials and supplies for their projects. Now working as the Climate Control Specialist for the Chas. E. Phipps Company he is advocating those same parties to work more closely together, take a step back, and look at the entire construction process avoiding many of those issues through a little additional upfront planning.
