The current scheduling process has limitations. It is largely done in a vacuum, communicating the plan is difficult, is not collaborative, and is hard to be iterative. Supplementing traditional scheduling process with 4D visual can enable a powerful communication medium. 4D allows all parties to visual and validate the pain, and unlock collaborative input for scheduling optimization. About the Speaker:
As the director of Virtual Construction, Mike leads the Ryan Companies' efforts to bring technology-based improvements known as Virtual Design and Construction (VCD) to our development, construction and real estate management teams. He creates collaborative processes that will increase cost savings, quality and rate of project completion for our clients while improving safety and efficiency for our project teams.
Mike interface with the Ryan offices across the country and provides training to project specific coordinators for the VDC efforts at each office. Mike provides the leadership, guidance, means and methods to execute a successful virtual construction platform that will be used from pursuit to building turnover, and beyond. Mike is the leader in innovation related to our construction process.
