It's new yet the same

We’ve been hacked! Not just once, but twice. With that CSINext has moved its hosting and domain to goDaddy. For the moment, everything looks the same, but we will have a few more changes under the hood. The first thing you will notice is the speed improvement, being closer to the top of the chain and on faster servers makes a big difference. We have upgraded Joomla to the latest for improved security (and hope to prevent Hacks in the future).

We are have been working on getting a real time Facebook like chat on line. And I'm pleased to say that with the move to the new site, this is a reality. You will notice a gray bar at the bottom of your browser page. If you are logged in, you can chat with other CSINext members. Just click once on the "Online Users" and then select a user to chat with. If I'm online, please feel free to say hi :)

Another new feature is the FaceBook Like button. Each article has a "Like" button that will display a link back to your Facebook page. A great way to share articles and thoughts about CSINext. We are continuing to explore other social media tie ins, so if you have something you would like to see. Please don't be shy and let us know.

We are skipping the February Meeting and hope to have March lined up with a BIM presentation. Then in May we have an exciting presentation by Leslie Schlesinger on Professional Development.

And now for something completely different...
The Empire State Building in New York City has 6,400 windows.
