July 2012 is here... a new beginning

We had our first CSINext Chapter Board meeting of the year. We are excited to get the chapter back on track. We have Chapter Programs scheduled for September and October. August is in the works and then we will take time off for the holidays and jump back on track in January. Very soon you should be receiving an invite to register for the chapter programs. We will continue to reach out in many different ways to the virtual community.

Below are the meeting minutes:

• A program is in the works for August; Bruce Stone with Tulsa is trying to confirm availability for August 15 or 16. The program is 'How green is the cloud?'
• September 6 is confirmed, Sarah Caldwell will be presenting 'Eliminating fear, terror, boredom - Networking Construction Professionals
• October 17 is confirmed, Kimberly Kaylor will be presenting 'Creating Success with Effective Proposals'
• If the chapter does have an August program, we will consider skipping November & December for the holidays and then schedule programs for January, March and May.
• For the main website and email to the chapter members, Brent will do a President's message for July (and each month after)
• Rob H. Will setup a Facebook page and Linked-In specific to CSINext. Programs and latest news will be posted there.
• Daniel H. will confirm with Cindy Belisle on posting tweets for the chapter (will send login info)
• Daniel H. will verify with AIA about becoming a CEU provider, check if CSI chapter discount is still applicable. All programs will need to have learning units. If the presenter does not have the program registered, the chapter will do it for the one time use.
• Program notices go to Chapter Members first, then website subscribers followed by CSI membership. All notices will be sent via email. Have a great July and hope to virtually visit in August!
