Program Overview:

A very powerful case study of the Station Night Club fire in Rhode Island. This program will examine the Rhode Island Night club Fire and explore the following aspects: Code Official Action, Contributing Factors to Loss of Life, Was this an Accident or a Crime? Civil vs. Criminal Negligence, Grand Jury Evidence, Sentencing, Civil Litigation, Defendants and Settlement. 

The final part of the program is What Lessons Were Learned? Also a view of several of the World’s Deadliest - Large Assemblies, Nightclubs, & Dance Halls Fires. At the end you will be able to take these Lessons Learned and apply them to your practices and projects.

• Increase awareness about LIFE SAFETY and how it Impacts us daily in our work.
• Responsibility to Insure LIFE SAFETY in the design and inspections of buildings that we oversee.
• What Level is Acceptable and who Establishes the Level of Life Safety.
• Brief History of the Term "Life Safety".
