This program will cover “Six Steps” for successful Construction Administration and focuses on six commonalities found across construction projects. The steps start with “setting yourself up for success” through means of coordination between the drawings and specifications, including the specification and use of Mock-Ups and Pre-Installation Meetings, thus eliminating confusion around party expectations. The next steps take you through the critical tasks you will be faced during the Construction Administration phase, such as how to conduct a meaningful Site Visit Report, including when and what to document vs not. The final step lands you at Substantial Completion and Project Closeout, what to expect and what’s expected of you. Each step will have a technical explanation, followed by examples, and summarized with a “key takeaway”.
